In 1999, Michele wandered up the stairs of her gym one evening and came upon a candle lit room that was being prepared for a yoga class. She took that class and yoga has been changing her life on and off the mat ever since. For Michele, it was during a difficult time in her life that she truly found the healing benefits of a daily practice. She is now dedicated to helping others find transformation through the ancient practice of yoga. Over the past 20 years, Michele has studied different styles of yoga and has practiced in different studios throughout the U.S., Mexico and Costa Rica. Michele feels as passionate about learning today as she did when she first started and wants to share that enthusiasm with her students. Michele completed the 200 Hour YTT and Yin Yoga Immersion at Prana Das Yoga Therapy and Healing Arts Center in July 2019 and the 300 Hour YTT in March 2020. She is also Reiki 2 certified and continues to study energy healing modalities as well as the chakra system, breath work, meditation, aromatherapy and the teachings of Ayurveda.
“Yoga does not just change the way we see things, it transforms the person who sees." -B.K.S. Iyengar
I am a certified yoga instructor and previous owner of Tulaa Yoga Studio in Wilmington, Delaware. I've been practicing yoga for 21 years, teaching for over a decade, certified numerous teachers since 2012, and more recently have been studying to become an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. Through my holistic approach to well being, I have learned that total wellness involves nourishment on the inside as well as the outside and I am passionate about helping others create that balance. I specialize in vinyasa, hatha flow, yin, and restorative yoga and welcome everybody to my classes regardless of age, body shape, or experience. My style tends to be a grounding practice mixed with mantras and meditations. The intention is to offer you a combo of physical and mental space to clear your heart, awaken your spirit, get you rooted to the earth, and still cultivate the fire within. In addition to asana classes, I lead various women’s circles, retreats, and specialty workshops.

Sarah Liberi Smith
Sarah’s love for yoga started when she was still in high school. Her journey continued when she attained her teaching certification after completing a 200-hour training program in 2010. The physical, mental, and emotional benefits she receives from yoga are the same benefits she wants to share with her students. Always wanting to help people, yoga has been a perfect way for Sarah to share her passion with people and help them gain the type of calm and confidence that she has been so
grateful to receive in her life. After having kids, Sarah has found yoga to be an indispensable tool in recapturing her tranquility amidst the chaos that can occur raising small children. She wants her students to forget about their worries and
what they have going on in their lives and just escape in her classes.
Sarah’s basic message is this: Yoga is not to be taken too seriously, have fun and always remember to breathe and smile!

I discovered Yoga while trying to stay active and recover from a soft tissue injury.
As a lifetime Gym/Sports Rat, I was searching for something that had the meditative qualities of running and the physical challenges of other multi-sporting events.
I entered my first yoga studio and fell in love with the YOGA Way of Life.
Yoga is a complete Mind-Body experience that challenges everyone’s unique personal skill level.
I have been practicing for over 10 years and obtained my RYT200 certification in 2019 studying with Judy Curiel and Brian Centonze at ACAC.
I believe that practicing Yoga off your mat is equally as important as the time spent practicing on your mat. Yoga is fun and relaxing. Every practice is new, every practice is different.
My teaching flavors of choice are Gentle Flow Vinyasa classes, Restorative and YIN. All the classes are structured for students of all levels. We use Props, Creativity and a Sense of Humor to make it Fun.
Give yourself the time to be on your mat to Rejuvenate, you’re worth it.

Ryan graduated from the University of Scranton with an International Business Degree in June of 2012. Ryan found himself waiting tables in the Philadelphia area, reluctantly contemplating a 9-5 office job. One evening after his restaurant shift, Ryan received a phone call from his sister, It’s Yoga Leigh. She told him about her new journey with It’s Yoga® and, half jokingly suggested he participate in the upcoming Teacher Training Program in September at It’s Yoga® Toledo. Despite Ryan’s athletic background focused around rugby he had only ever tried yoga a handful of times when visiting Leigh in Vermont. The next night Ryan called his sister back and said , “See you in two weeks,” packed his car and made the 9 hour drive to Toledo and began his It’s Yoga® journey. Ryan completed his 200 hour Teacher Training and immediately started facilitating classes for It’s Yoga® Toledo. Then in July 2013 he completed his 50 hour Rocket Training with Marie Russel, Rene Henly and Steve Pyka. Continuing his education he completed subsequent trainings through It’s Yoga® and is a certified Rocket® Trainer. He has started a new journey and is back in school full-time at Montco transitioning into the PTA(Physical Therapy Assistant) field. Ryan continues to share the love of the practice facilitating classes, assisting and leading training all around the globe.
“I love The Rocket, it gives me the freedom to float and fly.”
Ann recently moved back to the U.S. from Australia where she lived for the last 6 years. Ann taught yoga in Australia at a studio overlooking the ocean and she brings that "go with the flow" energy into her teaching.
We are thrilled to have her here with us now at Elevate!
